THE STUDY OF OUTPATIENT CARE OF PATIENTS WITH ESSENTIAL TREMOR IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD

The essential tremor is the most often extrapyramidal disease which declares itself by a postural tremor with a kinetic component. The purpose of research is the analysis of essential tremor diagnostics when patients reffer to specialized medical centers after being given a diagnosis of “essential tremor” at a consultation. Another purpose of the study is to allocate the basic clinical attributes influencing mistake emergence during essential tremor diagnostics. The research has included 410 patients reffered to neurology center of extrapyramidal disoders in the period from 16.01.2008 for 31.06.2010. After the examination the patients were given a diagnosis of “essential tremor”.
